Registration for the “contest” and “jam” will begin promptly at 9:00am. All registrations for the contest are done the day of the event. Entry to the contest is $15, entry to the jam is $5The contest will begin at 10:00am. Any registrations submitted after 10:00am may not be entered into the contest. This will be the order of the contest divisions:
-7 & Under
Each skater will get 2 runs of 1 minute*. The skaters will go in order of time of registration (first registered skater will go first). After the last skater in the division completes their first run, the second round of runs in that division will begin. The runs will go in the same order for both runs.
After the Am contest is finished the best trick “Jam” will begin. Registrations for the jam will be taken until the jam commences.
After the jam is over and a winner has been selected the Monster Committee will make final preparations for the MC to announce the contest winners. Third, second, and first place winners will be announced for each division. The order of announcing division winners will be in the same order as the divisions in the contest. After the divisions are announced the best trick jam winner will be announced and the contest will come to an end.

Proximity will explore the delicate relationship between time and place, showcasing surfing icons from different generations in diverse locations around the world.
